[Japanese Cuisine Shingetsu] is located near Ishiyama Temple in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture. You can thoroughly enjoy kaiseki cuisine at this traditional Japanese restaurant that uses ingredients sourced from the Omi region. Starting with [Kaiseki Cuisine], recommendations also include the [Beef Shabu-Shabu] (sliced meat parboiled with vegetables) and the limited-time [Fugu (blowfish) Cuisine]. Their seasonal cuisine is raised to new heights of perfection with the careful selection of the tableware and decor, which pair well with the season and ingredients used in the dishes. They also offer local sake (Japanese liquor) selections, from breweries in the Omi region, that bring out the Omi-specific flavor. There are completely private rooms available from 2 to 50 people. Seats can be arranged to suit the number of guests and their needs. Each room has Japanese-style table seating, and the whole restaurant has a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
