In 2022, he opened Yurakucho Kakida as a restaurant where people can experience "the pleasure of eating and drinking as much as they want without worrying about the price" that he enjoyed when he became president. As a restaurant where customers can enjoy "free refills" of high-end sushi items that Mr. Kakida himself purchases at the Toyosu market, it has become a popular spot with reservations filled up to six months in advance.
