The new [Fukuyoshi] restaurant was opened with much anticipation in November 2019. The sushi and a la carte dishes are made even more delicious with fresh seafood and seasonal ingredients. The fish is sourced from Tokyo as well as the Kansai area and Hokkaido and Nagasaki prefectures. The chef has ensured exceptional rice is used, having traveled to where it is produced himself, observing the process right up until harvest. Aside from these high-quality ingredients, the wide range of alcohol, which includes wine and sake, allows you to be able to enjoy a drink menu that changes with the seasons. The renovated interior of the 120-year-old traditional Kyoto townhouse has an elegant Japanese ambience. Two seating types are available to suit customers' needs: counter seats where one can enjoy the food being prepared right before them, and private Japanese tatami rooms with a special and inviting atmosphere. This restaurant is perfect for not only occasions like dates and anniversaries, but also for business dinners with clients.
