[Au Bord d'Eau Fukuoka] is Japan's only wine bar and restaurant recognized by the C.I.V.B. (Bordeaux Wine Bureau). Renovated in November 2019, the restaurant has been reborn with a chic, sophisticated look. It has an extensive wine list full of selections from 61 premium, certified wineries in the Bordeaux Médoc region, as well as a 4,000-bottle cellar that includes rare imports from Bordeaux which are not available in the wider marketplace. A menu full of inventive cuisine created by the skilled chef works in harmony with the quality wine list. Chef-selected Kyushu produce is prepared using Japanese and French techniques to create the exquisite dishes on their menu. With views of the gorgeous scenery surrounding the Nakagawa River, this restaurant also features a basement wine cellar, private dining rooms, and a wine shop. Enjoy the elegant moment.
