A hideaway style restaurant where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a truly unique experience. That's Sumibi Yakiniku Kappo Toto. It's a 15-minute walk from Matsumoto Machiya Station, located in front of Takagi Chuo No. 1 Park. For their Japanese BBQ, they use Wakasa Beef, a premium brand of Japanese Black cattle that represents Fukui Prefecture. They use seasonal seafood caught in the waters off the Hokuriku coast, as well as locally grown vegetables. The interior exudes a sophisticated, upscale feel with a calm atmosphere. In addition to seven counter seats, there are three tables seating six and two raised seating areas seating six. They recommend the counter seats, where you can enjoy the live experience of watching the chef at work right before your eyes, as well as the intimate atmosphere of chatting directly with the chef.
