Mr. Yanagihara is a native of Tokyo, and serves as the restaurant head and head chef of Kappo Fujitsuka. Aiming to walk the path of cuisine with a desire to learn professional skills, he trained at famous Kappo restaurants in the Kanto area. Later in his career, after working at a major dining corporation, he moved to Nagoya and participated in the launch of an original Kappo restaurant thanks to his connection with the owner at the time. He took on his current positions when the restaurant opened in October 2025, and shows his unique course cuisine, weaved with select ingredients, at the counter seats that have a lively feel. A breath of fresh air in the Shin-Sakae gourmet scene.
